Mother: I follow a blog called Shelbee On The Edge. I enjoy her openness about her life, her struggles and her fashion picks. She is doing a series now on Spread the Kindness that I find so inviting. As we all know our country has gone through a hard election, some of us feel like we won, some of us feel like we lost, but is that a reason to lose all human compassion and caring? No one knows what will happen over the next four years so wouldn’t it be nicer to show kindness? The world is not going to come to an end until God is ready to put an end to it. And for those of us who put our faith in the Lord, it matters not who is in the White House our Father will take care of us.
I gather from reading one of Shelbee’s post she chose not to vote, and blogged about her reason, I missed that post. But, I did see her post when she was blogging about some of the comments she got regarding her post. Why people felt the need to write so viciously is beyond me. Whatever decision Shelbee made regarding the election was hers, this is a free country, it hurt no one. If you didn’t like what she was writing stop reading, why make a personal attack?
I personally have blocked some family and friends on Facebook because I choose not to read all of the doom and gloom they are posting. I love these folks and hope that it will all pass so I can go back to seeing there fun, happy updates. I felt no need to attack them, they don’t even know I am not seeing their postings, I have hurt no one.
In this season when we rejoice in the greatest gift of our Savior Jesus Christ, can’t we share love, joy and blessings? Make it a goal in this Christmas season to put a smile on just one persons face a day. Hold a door, carry someones groceries, give a smile. Sharing kindness can be as simple as smiling at someone. Pay a compliment, buy someone coffee, small acts of kindness can mean so much. This time of year can be hard for many and one act of kindness may help lighten their heart.
These pictures are from a Lularoe pop up party daughter and I did. I love this red Irma I am wearing. It is made out of the sueded fabric that the leggings of Lularoe are made from. I wore the Irma with a pair of straight leg pants from Macy’s. And I love these black suede booties. I have been looking for booties for awhile and hadn’t found any I thought looked ok with my ankles. I have large calves and ankles to go with them. As you can see I tried putting a Lindsay over my Irma but was not happy with the look, plus I got too hot. lol
Until next time.
