Mother: As you know if you follow our blog, daughter and I became Lularoe consultants this summer. Thus far it has been a lot of fun, though there have been a few what were we thinking moments. Above was our Octoberfest and we just about froze. lol I have a Lularoe Irma on in a wonderful suede fabric but had to put a sweater over it and as the day went on a coat.
We had our launch party at daughter’s church the end of July. Little did we know how much manual labor it would take to haul clothes, racks, computer etc. from one location to another. Plus how many of us it would take to run a pop up party. We have read on line and seen on You Tube women who sell Lularoe as their second job, we give them kudo’s. Daughter has a full time job but I am retired and it takes almost every spare minute either of us has to keep our business afloat. Plus we have one granddaughter that works with us on the weekends.
A lot of our pop ups are on Facebook as most of you know, but we really enjoy in home parties. That way you get to meet your clients, plus they get to try on and check sizes and fit. And the added bonus of taking their purchases home with them.
Here we are at the last event we did. Daughter is wearing a Carly, knotted on the side over a pair of solid colored leggings and her boots. I am wearing a Nicole with a Joy over it, as you can see I am a little more conservative. I did have a necklace on but it broke midway through the day. If you wonder why I usually don’t show our faces it is because of the look on my face in the above photo, plus I don’t always want to put make up on. lol
We have gotten sunburned in September at the first Red Head Festival in Charleston WV, and we have froze our hinnies off at the first cold Saturday at an Octoberfest. We have joined thirteen other consultants at a multi consultant sale and just sat and talked at an in home where no one showed but us and the hostess. Through it all we wear our Lularoe proudly and style it any number of ways.
This is a new adventure in my retirement years and I am loving it.
Till next time.
