Mother: Today was difficult dressing from the closet because I don’t own a denim skirt and that was the clothing choice for today. One would think that with all the clothes I have in my closet there would be at least one denim skirt, but there is not. Daughter and I were discussing this last evening, she doesn’t have one either. I have tried on many but have never found one that fits well.
I did find a black skirt that I thought would work, paired it with a top that was not part of the original nine pieces, which made made it a ten piece capsule wardrobe, it was a no go. Husband took pictures for me but commented it was the worst outfit I had modeled. lol What do you say to that? lol Well I changed my clothes. Here is a look at the failed.
It could have been the clothes, the stance, the lighting, any of a number of things, husband thought the shoes. This just means I will need to buy a pair of black sandals to replace these. lol Like I couldn’t find a pair here if I looked.
So I then decided not to take the instructions for the day too literally, and went with jeans. I wore the top from Monday and the necklace and blinged it up with these sandals.
You can’t tell a lot from the picture but they are very sparkly. These are the ones I really wanted here, but the ones above are what I could afford. They are a couple of years old and a couple of hundred dollars less in pricing.
I wore the gold ball necklace from Monday and added a pink zebra print Coach bag.
So this is my look for Thursday, very casual.
