Do you ever have one of those days when you try something new with your photos and it just goes to hell in a handbasket? That was me today. I have read a few blogs over this last week regarding content, too many pictures, not enough pictures, is the subject matter boring is there too much writing or not enough. Well of course as relatively new bloggers we want and need all the information we can get so I wanted to start with being a little more inventive with my photos, they were inventive alright and all but the one above got deleted. I had no idea that the placement of my hands could make a photo look so wrong.
And since I didn’t proof the pics till 9:30p all I could do was re shoot them in the house. This means that the only place I really have is in front of the fireplace, kind of funny in the middle of July, but you do what you have to do.
I really like this Lularoe Nicole. I love the color, the purple is so bright and with the white print I feel it looks very fresh and sharp. The fabric of this dress is a little different than the other dresses and pieces I have from Lularoe. The fabric is a little heavier and the give in it is not as much as there is in some of the other fabrics, so this dress is a little more form fitting than I am use to. I really like the t shirt type material that some of the other Nicoles and Azure skirts are made from. But it never hurts to step out of my comfort zone once in awhile.
This gives a little better look of the print and I thought the pearls were the right touch.
I wore these Anne Kline sandals that I bought from Macy’s a couple of weeks ago when they were having a sale. For those who shop Macy’s on a regular basis you know there are always coupons. Well I had a $20 off if I spent $50 and some how on my receipt these came up free. I had ordered online and was worried that if the shoes didn’t fit or I didn’t like them what would I do??? What would be the point of returning them since I didn’t pay for them? They fit so that was wasted worry. lol
It is official, daughter and I are now Lularoe consultants. We got the call on Wednesday and inventory has been ordered. Now we just wait till it gets here so we can hang and photograph all 500 pieces!!!
Till next time.
