I had no idea there were some many things in pumpkin spice. But it is only for a short time then straight to Christmas. Thank you for reading.

  1. Don’t get me wrong I like certain pumpkin spice flavored items, but I think it’s all just a marketing bandwagon that people obsess over. And yeah I do think it has to do with the change of the seasons that people get most excited over.

I so agree someone somewhere in a marketing company got big bucks for selling people on this idea. And it does herald the changing of the seasons.

  2. No, pumpkin spice does not rock my world. I am a big fan of cinnamon year round. Tastes great and is so healthy for you. Fall and holiday baking ususally means I add other spices like nutmeg etc. No big deal – depends on the recipe.

I agree I do like cinnamon, not so much in the warm months. Yes, the smell of fall and Christmas baking is wonderful, I do love the holidays. Thank so much for reading.

  3. I was drawn to your post because of the title, and I am among the throngs of people who love pumpkin spice! And I have to agree…I live in a tropical climate and long for the seasonal change of my childhood years, so pumpkin spice signals the change of seasons even when the change is ever so slight in my part of the world.

I bet it is hard to live without a lot of change in the seasons. I dislike the cold of winter so much I can’t really enjoy fall knowing the cold is coming. Thank you for reading and let your pumpkin spice bring you great memories.
