I agree, I have gotten irritation from makeup counter mascara just as much as drugstore.

  1. New reader to your blog, thanks for coming to my new linkup. Hope to see you next week. Finding the right mascara is so difficult, but Covergirl is pretty good and the price point is great!

  2. In the past year I have tried several different mascaras, as I subscribe to Glossy Box and they seem to send a new one every couple of months. I have really liked Two Face – Better than Sex, which is one they sent. I am currently using Benefit’s Roller Lash, and it’s ok, but not a fave. Once I am done with this one, I will go back to my personal favorite – Tarte’s Lights, Camera, Flashes. Love that one!

Thanks for linking up with Fabulous Friday! Hope to see you back next week.

Thank you for commenting. I have heard of Glossy Box but have never tried it. I do believe I have tried the Benefit’s Roller Lash, my sister swears by it, lol, I didn’t care for it. I will look for the Tarte’s.

  3. Napoleon Perdis Madam Curl Curl is one of my all time favourites, but I am using two Maybelline ones at the moment, cat eyes (yellow with leopard spots) for when I have more dramatic makeup and great lash (pink and green) for every day 😀 They’re both fab.

Thank you for the suggestions, I will give them a try. I am happy if they don’t irritate and come off easily. Of course no smearing or clumping is nice also. lol

  4. A good mascara is definitely hard to find. I used to use Lancome mascara but I didn’t want to spend that much. Most recently I’ve been using the house brand mascara at Ulta’s. I get the length and definition I want and it removes easily with soap and water. Thank you for sharing your mascara insights with my Up, Down, All-Around link-up.

I agree Lancome gets quite expensive. I have tried Ulta’s before but maybe didn’t get the right one. A couple of people have given suggestions and I am going to give them a try. Thanks for commenting.

  5. I’ve treated myself to high-end mascaras in the past, and always been disappointed, so I stick with Maybelline The Falsies now. I used the Covergirl Lashblast for years, but the MNY one has non-irritating (well for me at least) fibres in it and gives me excellent volume and length xxx

Folks have suggested a number of different mascara’s and I am going to give them a try. Mascara proves paying more doesn’t mean a better product. Thank you for commenting.
