I do think this is a great way to continue to gain further insight into others and the world around us. I’ve been thinking if we continue in our own little area with no venturing out of our box we get very small….
Can’t wait to hear what you do Victoria!!

  2. I have a tendency to stay in my comfort zone as well. Since I started making seasonal bucket lists, I try to include at least a couple of things that I wouldn’t normally do. Not too long ago I tried a new group exercise (Orangetheory). I was pretty nervous and almost backed out, but now I love it and go at least twice a week! I also tried a new recipe this week. Small things–not reinventing myself necessarily–but still it adds a little spice to my life.

I like your goal to do something with friends at least once a month. If you move forward with that, I’m sure you won’t regret it.

  3. I think you can reinvent yourself any time! I’ve definitely branched out/stepped out of my comfort zone more in the past few years but it’s always nerve-wracking. Sometimes it really works well though, and I’m glad I did it.

  4. I actually died while having my fourth baby and now that I’m back, nothing is the way it was before- I am a totally new person. Every day I’m out of my comfort zone and it’s terrifying. It’s scary to re-learn who you are.

God bless you. I can not imagine what you have been through. I would think it would be very scary living with no past. Thank you for reading.

  5. Those are wonderful ideas! I agree with you in that I am a homebody who little deviation in the order of things. I like my schedules, I like my routines, I like my stretch pants and that’s just who I am as a person. I will admit that I need to get out and socialize more too. As uncomfortable as it seems I am almost always happier to have had the adult interactions. Best of luck in you goals and I hope you’re in a warmer spot of Florida than I am.

You sound a lot like me I enjoy when I step out with friends but can go for days in my leggings without leaving the house. We are in Pensacola and it is cold.

  6. Stepping out of your comfort zone can be hard but is definitely worth it! You won’t know until you try, right!? I felt like I was stepping out of my comfort zone when I decided to start my blog a few years ago.. but I am so glad I did!

I thought the same thing when we started our blog. I still have difficulty writing about some things because they are out of my comfort zone.
