Mother: I am sharing a list of some of my favorite things. This list can change at any given time depending on what is happening in my world.
1. The number one thing I am loving right now is a new body lotion by Gold Bond. Aveeno has been my go-to lotion for as long as I can remember. We weren’t in Florida two days till my arms and legs were itching from dryness. One evening there was an advertisement on t.v. for Gold Bond radiance renewal so the next shopping trip I had my eye out looking for the lotion. The lotion has coconut oil, cocoa butter, and African shea butter which sounds like a winning hydration combo to me. This stuff even makes my dry heels feel and look better. I found it at WalMart in a big display but when I went back to get another bottle all that was left was an opened bottle.
2. Another thing I am enjoying right now is Lipton’s green tea with honey lemon. I gave up using any sweetener in my tea about two years ago, and the addition of the honey lemon flavor makes this green tea taste very good, not sweet but a pleasant flavor. Lipton also has a new green Matcha tea with ginger, but it isn’t anything I will be purchasing again. I am a big fan of matcha tea; I drink two or three cups a day when we are home, but this tea was a waste of my money in my opinion. With real matcha tea, you are drinking the powder of the leaves, and it is an acquired taste. This stuff has no taste of Matcha or of ginger.
3. Dry skin doesn’t limit itself to my body my face is dry also. The left side of my face seems to be much drier than the right I think because I sleep on my left side. About three months ago I was in CVS pharmacy, and they had a sale on L’Oreal products. Since I am always looking for a night cream that keeps my face moist and L’Oreals age perfect cell renewal was $3 off I thought why not give it a try. I use this cream every night and am quite happy with the results. It is a rich, thick yellow cream that is absorbed well and has a pleasant odor, CVS hasn’t had it on sale since so I have been ordering the cream from Amazon.
4. Leggings are something I have come to love wearing. I started wearing them when daughter and I sold Lularoe but though theirs were soft the sizing was different, and they did nothing to smooth bumps and lumps. HSN has leggings by Danica Patrick that do smooth plus they fit correctly and stay up. Someone had blogged about these leggings back in the fall, so I decided to give them a try, and I love them. I ordered my first pair then after wearing them a few times ordered a second pair. The leggings come in different colors and with different styling and there are other stores then HSN that carry the leggings.
For right now these are some of the items I am using or wearing. If you have a question regarding anything, please ask.
Until next time.
